B2B Payment Processing
Larger invoices, corporate cards and slower receivables need a different setup. We build it to lower what you pay on commercial cards and get invoices paid sooner.
Why B2B Payments Cost More, and How to Fix It
Business, corporate and purchasing cards carry higher interchange rates than consumer cards. On large invoices, that difference adds up quickly.
Card networks offer lower rates on eligible commercial cards when a sale includes extra data, such as tax amount, customer code and line items. Most general-purpose setups don’t send that data. Ours does.
Level II and Level III Data
What each level adds to a commercial card sale.
| Level I | Level II | Level III | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data sent | Amount, card, date | Adds tax amount, customer code and merchant postal code | Adds line items: product codes, quantities, unit cost |
| Typical use | Consumer sales | Business and corporate cards | Purchasing cards and government cards |
| Interchange | Standard commercial rate | Lower rate on eligible cards | Lowest rates on eligible large-ticket cards |
Eligibility depends on the card type, the card network’s rules and the data submitted. We’ll review your mix of cards before you switch.

B2B Payment Processing FAQs
How much can Level II and III data save?
It depends on the share of your sales on eligible commercial cards and your average ticket. Send us a recent statement and we’ll estimate it with your actual card mix.
Do I need new software?
Usually not. Enhanced data can be sent through a gateway and virtual terminal, and many accounting and ERP systems connect to the gateway.
Can I offer both card and ACH?
Yes. Many B2B customers prefer bank transfer for large invoices. Ask us about adding ACH alongside card acceptance.
What about high-ticket orders?
We set processing limits around your real invoice sizes during underwriting. High-ticket merchant accounts.
